Fall River Village's 31st Anniversary
2006 is a special year for Fall River Village, it's the year we celebrate our 33rd Anniversary! For those of you who aren't familiar with Fall River Village, here are some of the facts about the subdivision:
- Established in 1973
- 1000 acres, 800 of which are developed
- 430 lots to date
- Residents have access to three lakes: Third, Perry,
and Three Mile
- Present lots are a minimum of one acre
- 5 minutes from Bedford/Sackville
- 15 minutes from Halifax/Dartmouth
- Grades Primary through 12 attend school in the Fall River area
- Ash-Lee Jefferson Elementary School
(Primary to 6) expansion completed 2000,
including modern, regulation size soccer field
- Grades 7 and 8 attend George P. Vanier Junior High School
- Grades 9-12 attend the new Lockview High School in Fall River, opened in 2000
- Construction of Sobeys Shopping Centre in Fall River now COMPLETE!!!

Credit Union, Pizza Shop and more
- Within minutes of Fall River Village, in Windsor Junction,
you will find the L.W.F. Community Centre. This centre has
two ballfields, (large one has lights) with a regular schedule
of fastball and hardball for various ages. The Centre also
has large beach area and summer activities include playschool
and swimming lessons.
