Four Photovoltaic Plants in Italy Bought by Munich Re

07/21/2011
FOTOWATIO Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) Group has sold four of its plants in Italy to Meag, an asset manager company for Munich Re, the world’s biggest reinsurance company. The plants were built in 2010 by BP Solar under a turnkey construction project (EPC) and their combined capacity of nearly 30 MW can supply power to 13,565 homes. Fotowatio Italy will continue to manage the plants. Meag carried out another big operation this week, when it partnered with KKR to obtain a 49 percent equity stake in T-Solar.
